This semi-custom 36 Contender is about as close as any serious angler can get to the ultimate high-performance outboard fishboat. There are no compromises here. The Contender has more beam, more live wells, more fuel and more fish box capacity than any other boat in this class. Designed from the ground up for triple engines, the surprisingly weight efficient deep-V hull of the 36 Open is quick to accelerate and delivers a fast and secure ride even in 4 to 5 foot seas. The cockpit, both forward and aft of the console, is huge with plenty of in-deck storage capactiy. The walkways are very wide.
